Terms of Service

Last updated: July 28, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the website abeyvetantioch.com (the "Site") and the veterinary services provided by Abey Pet ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Site or use our services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Please check this page periodically for updates.

2. Veterinary Services

Abey Pet provides professional veterinary medical services. By scheduling an appointment or bringing your pet to our facility, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You are the legal owner or authorized caretaker of the animal receiving treatment.
  • You will provide accurate and complete medical history information to the best of your knowledge.
  • You consent to recommended diagnostic tests and treatments after being informed of the associated risks, benefits, and costs.
  • Treatment plans, estimates, and outcomes are provided in good faith based on available information; results cannot be guaranteed.

3. Payment Terms

Payment for veterinary services is due at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, major credit cards, and pet insurance. For extensive treatment plans, we may offer payment arrangements at our discretion; these must be approved in advance and documented in writing.

If you have pet insurance, you are responsible for understanding your policy's coverage, deductibles, and claim procedures. We are happy to provide the documentation needed for insurance claims but do not file claims on your behalf.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Abey Pet and its veterinarians, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or our services.

Our veterinary team exercises professional judgment in all care decisions. While we strive for the best possible outcomes, veterinary medicine involves inherent uncertainties. We are not liable for complications that arise despite appropriate care, provided such care meets the applicable standard of practice.

7. Appointment Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee. This policy allows us to offer the appointment time to another pet in need.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Abey Pet operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
